Psychotherapeutic sessions

In RUM you can find qualified psychotherapy focused on personal development and support for individuals, couples and families to live a harmonious, satisfying and authentic life according to your own internal values and needs. I also offer advise on various psychological issues inluding stress, anxiety, conflict management etc.

I offer individual therapy, couples counseling and group therapy focusing on issues that inhibit contact and relation between the client and other people, be it family relationships, romantic relationships, friendships and working relationships. I also work with people who have suffered loss and have an unresolved grief, as well as people who are in crisis.

Why choose therapy?

Sometimes you can have a feeling of having drifted off course, or find that certain situations are the source of repeated frustration, pain and uncertainty. Oftentimes, the repetition of inappropriate patterns was created in childhood or is a result of being under a heavy load for an extended period of time. This can make it difficult to see and feel what is happening, and understand why you react as you do – this is where psychotherapy can be effective.

The actual therapy may include work with:

  • grief and crisis - including unworked grief
  • self-esteem issues
  • loss and trauma - including feelings of abandonment and separation anxiety
  • loneliness and isolation
  • attachment issues - especially adopted adults

Practical Information

Rates:

  •   800,-     for individual therapy 70 min.
  •   500,-     for group therapy 90 min.
  • 1250,-     couples counseling 90 min.

Discounts are available for students at SU, people on sick leave and unemployed who receive unemployment benefits or social assistance.

I practice in RUM on Ravnsborggade 2-4, and maintain full confidentiality.

Cancellation Policy:

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please call or text me 24 hours before the session is scheduled to begin. For cancellations on the day of the appointment, you will be billed the full amount. For cancellations with 12 hours notice, you will be billed 50% of the full amount.
